Call for
Tender for supply of one no of Industrial Suction Sweeper
Sealed tender is invited from the original equipment
manufacturers or their authorized representative for supply of one no of
Industrial Suction Sweeper - Ride On type as per the specifications and Terms
and Conditions as per the annexure.
The sealed offer must reach the office of the
undersigned on or before 20.02.03 (2 p. m)

The supplier shall indicate the machine parameters for all the above.
Additionally the offer shall provide detailed specifications regarding the
following:
1. Engine
make, HP, rpm, fuel tank capacity, fuel consumption rate, engine cooling system
etc.
2. Main
broom and side brush dimensions & material of construction
3. Suction
rate and pressure of vacuum system, the suction system shall be capable of
fully sucking the dust cloud generated by the main broom
4. Drive
mechanism and its controls
5. Noise
level of the equipment at a distance of 1 meter
6. Filtration
area for both dust suction side and engine combustion air
7. The
safety features provided in the equipment like Auto stop, parking brake, lights
& turn indicators, Horn and collision protection for side brushes either as
part of standard equipment or as an optional accessory
8. List of
clients in the country where similar equipment (model wise) are in use.
9. Spares
and service backup setup in the vicinity.

head protection and cabin for operator (without air condition)

recommended spares
3. Dust
filter with retention rate of more than 95% for particulates less than 0.5
microns in lieu of item No.6 (i.e., 5 micron) in the specification given above

Terms and Conditions:
1.
EMD
of as 42,000/- (USD 865) in form of DD payable in Bangalore must accompany the
offer. Offer received without EMD is liable to be rejected:
2.
The
offer is to be submitted in two parts
i)
Techno-commercial
and
ii)
Price.
The envelopes containing the offers are to be
appropriately identified with the part of the offer, the subject of the tender
and due date.
3. Only the
techno-commercial offers will be opened at 2:30 p.m. on the due date in the
presence of those tenderers who wish to be present. The price bid of only those
tenderers who qualify in evaluation of the techno-commercial offers will be
opened at a later date and the qualified tenderers will be intimated the date
in due course.
4. The authorized agents must enclose an
authorisation letter from the original manufacturer.
5. In case of
Indian suppliers (Indian Source), the price should be FOR BHEL. In case of
foreign source, the price should be FOB any major port from where the Indian
Flag vessels are operating and the currency should be USD / Euro/ Yen.
6) Payment terms
i)
In
case of Indian source, our standard payment terms:
-
70%
against receipt of material at our works.
-
20%
after successful commissioning
-
10% against Performance Bank guarantee
valid for one year
From date of commissioning.
The PBG is to be issued by any of the BHELConsortium banks as per the list in
the annexure
ii In case
of foreign source, the payment will be made by T. T. Necessary details like SWIFT CODE, Name of the bank, M/c No,
Branch address etc. are to be furnished in the price bid. All bank charges
outside India will be to the beneficiarys account. The supplier has to submit
a Bank Guarantee (Stand by LC) of 10% of the total contract value valid for one
year from the date of receipt of material.
7. Warranty: The equipment is to be covered under warranty for at least one year from the date of commissioning of the machine at BHEL Any problem during the warranty period shall be attended free of all charges involved including replacements.
7) Delivery: Within 4 weeks from the date of the
order.
8) L. D. Clause: 0.5% per week to a maximum of 5% of
total value for delayed delivery.
